Faith

Faith is as ubiquitous as philosophy, but just as unnoticed. Everyone has faith in something–in the certainty of natural physical laws; the constancy of strong family ties; the good will of the government to care for its citizens, or the ability of chance processes to lead to an ordered evolution of life forms. Faith is everywhere. For faith to be sound, it must always be wedded to a reasoned analysis of the premises underlying that faith. Such analysis entails an ongoing examination throughout life, one in which all people should be engaged. It is our hope, that the books we publish will give our readers a new and enjoyable resource to assist them with this essential and rewarding self-examination of life.
